Lexmark T644 Service Fan Stalled error 927.02

I was searching thru the forum and saw the responses to a similar thread regarding this type of error on a T642 printer.
After printing roughly 20-25 pages, the error occurs on this printer. Main exhaust fan spins right up to the error occurrence. I removed the right side cover over the cartridge fan and observed it not operating at all during the printing process. This is one of the checks Lexmark mentions in the knowledge base article.
The printer firmware is current, level E211.
I am curious if anyone else has seen this model printer experience this error and how they fixed it.

Cartridge fan stalled. Try another fan. They are kinda aggravating to replace, but not all that difficult. Running the cable is the worst part.
The fan should start up as soon as printing starts. The manual says to replace fan first and system board second.
I think the part number is 40x0035
