Lexmark T652 LCD on printer remains blank when turned on. Fuser fan comes on no other POST sounds. First step replacing sys bd any suggestions if this doesn't work?
Is it a network printer ? If it is, check the printers webpage - it will display errors even if the panel is blank.
Replace panel if this works.
Otherwise i would also start by replacing the Operator Panel Assy.
The possibility that the system board dies is much
lower than the display itself. You can check this by using a panel from another machine. If the display turns on, it will display a "NVRAM mismatch error". Get a new Display and replace the assy.
Much easier and also much cheaper than replacing the system board and finding out it was the display ...
That would also make the new system board unusable in other machines, since the printer copies its NVRAM contents to the new component.
