Before replace 1Gb memory reseat all verticaly and horizontaly DIMM's from network controller board.
Then perform nvm init = press and hold the 3, the Stop, and the Power Save buttons simultaneously , power on the machine and keep the buttons pressed until the segment bar appears on display.
If , after replacing the 1GB memory, the fault remain you need to reload machine software.

Had a dimm at the shop, installed it and preformed the nvm int and the machine came back to life. Was a little worried when the top of the control panel would not respond to touch, but after about 6 or 7 minutes it was fine. Again, thanks to you all.
